sealing patterned / stamped concrete porches

Not sure where I should post this question - hope it is OK here (as partly re: 'porches' ) ....

My back yard, front and back porches, and side walkway were all done with patterned or stamped concrete and they're over 2 years old.

And I am planning to apply a coat of sealant this fall.

I know it was recommended to use solvent-based sealant a few years ago.

However - with the latest push for environmental friendly product and green movement.

I now heard that the water-based sealant is the right product for today.

Welcome any comments / recommendations / suggestions on Solvent-based vs water-based sealant to use on exterior stamped concrete.

So that I can make an informed decision for this coming fall. THANKS !
