Tigerwood Finish

We are just finishing our Tigerwood fence and are moving to the deck later this week. I really like the color of the wood and wanted to know if there is any way to protect it without altering the color. I heard there is some kind of clear UV protection but I have not seen anything. My neighbor put some kind of clear oil on his Ipe fence and it really darkens it up which I do not like. Any suggestions? Thanks!

No clear or natrual outdoor finish has any uv protection.

Any finish you put on,including water,will darken the wood. J.

The question most asked for outdoor finish. The good ol natural beauty thing.

Pick one that looks right to you. I use TWP 116 on tiger and Ipe it will give a red/brown look. J.
