Steel Subframe

Has anyone done one? The point being (per builder) that you wouldn't want to put wood (Ipe) that's going to last 40 years on something that might not (PT). Any thoughts?

A steel sub-frame is a best way to ensure your deck's long life and a steel sub-frame also means that any deck may be moved, re-sited or extended with minimal disruption or risk of damage.

Hi, did you guys ever do this project with ipe / trex elevations steel frame substructure & ceiling ? i'm considering it also.. Thanks
