Ipe is the King but its geting a little spendy and rare at times.

Masenramduba is a good buy right now from East Teak 800 338 5636 however it requires more pre install care than ipe. Keep it off the ground and covered from the sun before puting it down. Other than that Mass is even better for ground contact than ipe.

Cumaru has a lot of movement most Folks would not understand. Its good for Comm work. J.

Keeping it off the ground and covered shouldn't be a problem. How long do you think I should have it on site before I do the install? Is a week sufficient, or is it a, the longer the better type of thing.

One other thing, from what I can tell the consensus here is to face fasten with SS. My deck will be about 4 feet off the ground at it's lowest point up against the house, and between 5 and 7 feet at it's highest points on the corners. I know clips are a gamble, but do think using the Tiger Claws in this situation would be a bad bet to make. My house faces east so I get morning and afternoon sun up until about 2pm, if that matters.

Install the material any time you want. There is no time thing going on.

Masanrambuba should be protected from the Sun before install thats all Im saying. Just dont lay it out random ya know laying all over for days before install.

Do not use the clips on SA lumber.If you want that look go screw/plug its less money and labor and its a sure thing. J.

Thanks again John. I was under the impression that it was a good idea to let the wood acclimate to my climate before install. Do the pre-made plugs match well or should I look into making my own?
