My screen porch is almost complete and when I got home today the two electrical sockets and the cord for the pending ceiling fan were in place. They are large and grey and ugly. I can get past the socket itself as I know that has to be an outdoor socket, but the cords are about 1.5 inches thick. The cord coming from the roof to the outdoor switch for the ceiling fan is fastened to my siding and just runs straight down from the ceiling to the switch overtop of the siding. Could this have not been place down the wall (hidden) and come out at the switch?? Also is there no other color than the grey (looks like a garden hose). I will inquire with the contractor, but is there a cover or something that anyone knows of that I can slip over these to hide them?
