We recently built a small deck on the front of our house and I need help choosing a colour for it and the railing. I am going to be using a solid stain. I was thinking of staining it a taupe colour to match the bricks on the house. Any opinions? What colour railing should we put on? It will have to be wood due to costs. Here are my thoughts:

Taupe deck, white railing
Taupe deck, taupe railing with black metal spindles
White deck, white railing

I will also be painting the house foundation and was wondering what colour to use for that as well. Should I match it to the deck?
