I just paid for my deck to be cleaned (Olympic deck cleaner) and then a coat of Thompsons Water Seal applied. It looks terrible and I am so worried the playset is ruined. It is fuzzy everywhere and blotchy. (see pic) The contractor who did it said it just needs another coat but I can tell it needs much more than an extra coat of Thompsons. Please tell me it can be fixed! Would sanding help? Cleaned again? The wood looks damaged from the cleaning so I am hesitant to redo that. He used a pressure washer after applying the deck cleaner and I think that further damaged the wood. Thank you!
