Pressure Washed Composite Deck

After trying everything to get the black spots off the composite deck (Corte Clean, which turned the stairs orange, etc), we power washed it and got it off. However, but doing this, it removed the top coat of the composite, so now the material is rougher to the touch and the particles in the deck is more exposed.

Is there any coating or sealer I should paint on it now?

The pressure washer was probably set too high but could get the black stuff off otherwise.

You probably should apply a coat of TWP or other good stain. Otherwise you just made the problem worse cause of the exposed wood particles will mold now more than before.

You did not say what brand of composite is on your deck.

I ordered the Moldex Deck Protection as Messmers didn't have the color of our deck (mahagony) and I didn't know about Messmers till I already ordered the Moldex product. Hope it helps.
