| I am rebuilding my deck, using Tigerwood, dividing into two sections that will be picture-framed. One section is 17x8, with decking running parallel to house. The other section is 17x12, and here I will run the decking at a 45 within the picture frame.
Question is about running the decking up to the picture frame...do I gap it there at 1/4" (like rest of decking), or do I butt up to the frame with no gap? thanks! |

| I gapped mine. But I had 1/8" gaps, not 1/4". |
