New Ipe deck pics

I would like to thank John, Steve, George, Ken and all the other professionals and DIYÂers that contribute to this forum. Sharing your knowledge and experience has been an invaluable resource to me, and IÂm sure, many others. This forum is where I first learned of Ipe wood. I also want to give a huge thank you to Joe "Decks". He was incredibly patient during the planning process, coming to my home numerous times to answer all of my questions and brought me slews of samples of railing options until we found the right one. Joe really cares about making his customers happy and during the entire process really treated the project as if it were for his own home. I was truly fortunate to find someone so meticulous, detail oriented and trust-worthy. IÂve never sung the praises of a contractor before, but am just so pleased that my deck came out nicer than I had imagined.

We are hoping to paint the porch post, deck support columns, and Azek fascia very soon. IÂm also going to RAD the deck and treat it with Woodzotic.

That has to be one of the nicest projects I've seen. I love the alternating board dimensions and the super-structure is immaculate. Let us know how the Woodzotic goes.

I showed my husband your deck as we need to do a little 4x6 deck off our kitchen as the one we have is falling off (literally) and he loved your deck (as I did) as was impressed with all the details! Especially the stairs with the little Ipe details, the and the detailing/routering work on the side of the structure. I guess it's odd we notice all that stuff but we've been DIY for so long we go into houses looking at all the little details to figure out how to do ours. I love the IPE top deck rail with the white too - it's a lovely contrast.

I think I like the alternating 6" then 4" boards, it is a very interesting look, love to see it in person. Awesome work, I might nab that beam end trim idea from ya for our deck!

Gorgeous deck! Your railings are beautiful. Is that an ipe handrail along the top? How about the rest of the rail system?

Absolutely beautiful! I love the color--it's not red like so many ipe decks I've seen. Can you tell me what the stain is they used?
