| I'm making a path between the fence and the garden area. I have dug all the grass out, but there were a gazillion roots from some vine or tree (though there is no tree above the area). The vines sprout little trees everywhere, in the lawn, in the garden, etc.
I want to have a pea pebble walkway, so I don't want those roots to grow up through the pebbles. I had thought of putting black plastic underneath and then laying the pebbles over it, but.. I was reading re/ pea gravel and saw that they recommend putting it on a sand base. My dirt is already VERY sandy, and I think I could just use that, but....then I'd have weeds and trees growing through. Do you think the plastic is a bad idea? Help. |
