The oil-based deck stain we bought last year looks milky...

Can I use it? We bought two 5 gallon cans of oil based Flood stain last year and when I opened it up to stir this year it is very milky/cloudy. Not what I expected. Is it still good to use? It was exposed to various temps over the year. I've stirred and stirred and still the milky look.
