| I dug a 17x14 patio area and put down 1ft sq concret pavers over a layer of rocks and layer of sand separated by landscape fabric (landscape fabric also under rock layer).
I have decided to build a screened in patio and believe I need to replace the pavers with a poured concrere slab. Besides the pavers and probably the sand, do I also need to remove the rock layer before having the slab poured. I am in SE Virginia and can do this most anytime of year if that matters. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!
