I suppose it might help if I at least had a proper subject. Sorry I messed it up the first time around.

Painting the floor is one of the quickest, most powerful makeovers. I think porch floor color should be different from door color, but it should complement each other.

I think it would look better if the porch floor was a different color from the door. I wouldn't go to crazy though with the color. You don't want your deck to end up looking like a rainbow. I am always a fan of white decks or lighter colors at least, and a bright colored door for a pop of color!

Thank you for your suggestion. Any ideas about the color of the porch? If I paint the ceiling blue, it wouldbe too much blue to also paint the floor blue. It can't really be this hard to decide, yet, here I am unable to decide.

How deep a shade of blue are you painting the ceiling? Are you trying to get it to look like a sky blue? If so, go with something very light, almost white with the faintest blue tint to it, for the floor so It might end up looking like a reflection of the sky.
