Hi. I had my deck stained this weekend...and I hate it!! It was stained a redwood color...but it really looks terrible. If I want to change the color to something more brownish than red/orange-ish can I have someone stain directly on top of the redwood or does that need to be stripped off? I'm concerned with powerwashing again because the wood isn't in the best condition. Any help would be appreciated!
