| About 5 years ago, I had a highly recommended contractor replace the floor of my deck. Though it was cedar, it was full of splinters and looked terrible. My contractor replaced the floor with treated wood.
Either the wood wasn't treated or I misunderstood what treated wood was. The floor is now dangerous and rotted out. Many holes in the floor. Now I have to replace the floor again. What are your recommendations as to what I replace the floor with, please. |

| I'm not sure what treated wood they would have used. Are you in Walnut Creek, Ca.? I used to live there. My decking preference is ipe, or a high end composite. Mark |
