| We just bought a used Rainbow playset for our kids. Its quite large, and will be moved and installed by professional playset movers. It is 7 years old and I think it ought to have a fresh sealant.
From some preliminary research, it appears that Cabot ATO is the best sealant for redwood. But, is it the best for a playset that had a factory sealant and possibly some do-it-yourself sealant over the years? Also, some parts are exposed to more weather than others. There are parts that are covered by a roof during the summer. Should those portions be treated differently? Any advice on cleaning, sealing, and maintaining this thing would be greatly appreciated. We're hoping to get a good 10 more years out of it! |

| I believe Rainbow Playsets use SuperDeck Heart Redwood Color. It is not our favorite stain but if you are looking for consistency then I would use that. |
