I have never dealt with 1 Earth Forest Products, but it appears we have an unhappy customer above. So while I cannot be much help their, I would suggest looking into a hidden fastener that actually anchors through the deck board and into the joist. This will give your deck a much more rigid feel. While there are many options out there, my weapon of choice is the ipe clip extreme fasteners due to the fact that they are a plastic fastener yet have a stainless washer molded inside.

I'm not a huge fan of using clips on the SA hardwoods, but have used the extreme ipe clips on a few ipe decks with good results so far. Just finished one last week & have to say that ipe decks using those clips look fantastic.

Not sure cumaru is a good choice for using the clips, if you do make sure it is the 5/4 boards & kiln dried lumber. I also suggest using a liberal amount of construction adhesive, like pl400, that is made for outdoor use.
