Timber Tech or Fiberon

We are getting ready to build 16x28 deck and have narrowed the choices down to either the TT Earthwood Solid Plank in Tropical Rosewood or the Fiberon Horizon in Brick. Does anyone have any pros or cons on these brands? Thanks

I vote TimberTech. And another vote for MoistureShield.

Thanks for your input John. I'm not familiar with MoistureShield. Did do a little reading online but am only finding 1 lumber company so far in the Seattle area that say they sell it. - Rich

I am about to make the same decision. Can you explain to me why Timber Tech? I am particularly interested in the scratch resisting qualities of the deck material. From what I have read so far Fiberon uses some second generation technology which improves the mold/mildew resistance and the ability to clean it up.

I would go with them Rich MS is quality product and not as spendy as TT those guys are quality as well but the price has gone way off the scale.

Jeff no man made is scratch resistent, second generation 1000 generation is total sales hype. J.
