| To make a long story short, most contractors that I have gotten an estimate from insist that bluestone or trex is much better than flagstone. They say the cracks in between will cause issues and there is less of a chance of that with bluestone pavers. The walkway would be with large squares of bluestone, like tiles. I wanted an "old style" look and I don't really prefer the clean look of bluestone, although it does look nice. The plan was to pour a concrete landing and stairway and do a flagstone veneer. Then a flagstone walkway going to the driveway. Estimates have been from 15-25,000. Size of the porch is about 6' x 4'. Run is 8 stairs. |
