Cracked concrete patio - thoughts on what to replace it with

The existing patio is a 9x10 concrete slap that is attached to the house - I don't know how it's attached but it looks like it was poured right beside the house - the back and left side are attached to the house. The grade of the land looks like it has settled some and the whole slab is really quite slanted. I'd say it's off by about 5 degrees at the worse point. Needless to say, where it's connected to the house, it's cracked. The crack doesn't bother me...the severe slant does.

I love a nice patio/deck. Would love to re-do this but yet remain budget friendly. Can I build a new wood deck on top but larger...say, 10x11 and sink the supports in the ground outside the dimensions of the old deck or is it better to remove the slanted concrete patio?

I'm hesitant to remove it and put more concrete in there for fear that it will just slant again.

Any thoughts/comments would be greatly appreciated.
