Home Depot vs Lowes pressure treated lumber.

Is there any difference in the quality of pressure treated lumber at Lowes or Home Depot?

Thats what I figured. I did however notice HD has a premium line that costs a bit more. Maybe I'll check that out.

With any pt lumber look at the sticker on the end of every board.

You want to see " ground contact " The box store sell very little of that mostley 4x4's.

Above ground contact is useless or hardley better than untreated lumber. Everyone has to make a buck call it premium or below premium its all Sales.

My local lumber yard sells ground contact pt lumber at a lower price than pt material at the box store.
