It takes a while for the Temin to set up/smell to go away.

Man this Gate is geting a lot of attention must be a special one. Sanding latex is a pain.

Thanks John, I'll wait another day to give the Termin 8 longer to dry. It'll be 48 hours then - do I need to wait longer?

It's replacing a custom garden gate, and the building of it wasn't easy. I'm spending time on the prep. as I want to get it right - I do not plan to do this again in a couple of years.

Cani, It takes that stuff like a week or more when I use it on the ground contact frame area on a deck. Its pretty nasty I dont expect anything to grow on it or try to eat it.

Go with an oil base finish latex is for inside work far as I think and do. J.
