After reading your forums for years I finally joined so I could post a question and get your advice. We have a new screened porch made from pressure treated pine (completed end of summer 2013). We are having a terrible time deciding on a deck stain - including brand, type and color. I have read reviews for weeks now and I am so confused. Seems people either love or hate them all!

My original plan was to stain the decking in a natural or clear stain but I was advised that wouldn't hold up and I would have to re-stain every year. (We like the look of the natural wood now but don't want it to weather to a gray color). I was then advised a solid or semi- solid stain would last longer but how do you pick a color? If I sound exasperated I am! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (House is red brick with white trim. Porch sidewalls and rails will match house trim. Ceiling, floor and uncovered deck area is what I am concerned about). Picture attached - at least I hope I did it right!
