smooth out aggregate patio

Our aggregate patio is too rough and I'm wondering if it can be smoothed out by power sanding? If so, what type of company would I contact to do such a job? (I live in the Chicago area).

Thanks for any advice.

do you mean an exposed aggregate concrete patio? I have my doubts that what you're proposing would work. You'd be better off looking for a local company that does concrete or epoxy overlays of existing concrete pads.

That's how terrazzo is made. Call a terrazzo restoration company and see what they think.
