I haven't seen any comments about Titan Post Anchors, so I thought I'd share my experience with the product.

Last weekend I installed a cable railing system using 4x4 Titan Post Anchors to secure cedar posts. The deck floats on a rubber membrane roof and the 1"x6" deck boards are secured to PT 2xX sleepers lying on their sides. The Titan Anchors are simple to install, though it does take more than the advertised "minutes". I used the horizontal boring set up on my ShopSmith machine to drill the holes in the ends of the posts. It worked very well and ensured the holes were straight.

The anchors created a rock solid interface between the posts and deck.
