| Our deck needs restaining this year. Do I have to strip the old stain off before I restain??? In most areas of the deck, it just looks faded and dull but there are some areas that have the appearance of stain cracking. Thanks in advance for your help |

| Hi, Faron---Happy to see your response. My deck stain is a solid latex. The deck and stain is 5 years old and the deck is 24 inches off the ground. What do you think?? Thanks |
