Hi Porch and Deckers,

I am planning to build a deck this spring. I really like the two-tone picture-frame look often shown seen on composite decks (example here: http://www.builtbymac.com/images/decks07/704-03-02.jpg). I don't think I can afford the composites, though, so I will probably use STK cedar. Question is - what is the best way to get the nice border effect with this wood? Is it just as simple as using two different stain colors, or should I consider a different type of border wood as well?
