For aesthetic purposes, should the beadboard ceiling of a front porch be finished with the same width beadboard as the eaves soffits, or should the soffits be narrower than the ceiling? For example, 3 1/2" wide beadboard under the eaves; 6" wide beadboard for the porch ceiling?
