I'm thinking of making my own patio stones, I have gathered 20 or so of them and was thinking to make a mold out of a few of the stones just by pouring a 10x10 inch frame with concrete then pressing my stone down into it and remove it before it became setup. Of coarse I need to find something to coat my stone with so it doesnt stick to the cement . then once I have my mould I can mix smaller batches of concrete and color it in different shades etc.
The stones can be maybe 3 inches thick or so to add strength .I could build up the sides as the part that will be showing once they are laid will be the partt that is on the bottom of the mlold. Any advise will be appreciated.
