My DH and BIL built our deck. I love it. I did all the research for what I wanted. We decided on Tigerwood, PT and aluminum balusters. I also saw at HD that they had solar post caps for $10/each. So I wanted those.

While the deck was being built, BIL asked how I wanted the posts on the top of the rail as he could do the fancy routing and whatnot, I told him just to cut them straight b/c I'd be getting those post caps.

So, now that we're at that point, I'm researching and the only solar post caps I can find for 6*6 posts run from $90-$130. The cheap ones are for 4*4 posts. So that's out, as we have 13 posts.

I don't love regular post caps. I've seen some wooden ones we could stain along with the rail. But I was wondering if there were any other ideas/options out there?
