| I have two salix integras.I have read many articles about pruning but not anything I feel comfortable about. I want to prune back both of them, but how far and when? I want the bushes to thicken,as they are too thin. Do salixes grow off old wood? Do I cut them back to the ground or cut back 2/3s. I am hoping to do this next week, as SPRING is arriving!! I see green in my gardens!! Thank goodness! Can't wait to get my hands in the dirt again!
Thanks for anyone's input on this! Annie |
