| I'm excavating for a new patio and it is a slightly awkward shape and rounded since it is wedged between the house and the stairs coming out of the deck door, plus has to routed around a drainage hold in my yard. I realize I'll be doing a lot of cutting regardless, but what will be the easiest type of pavers to use in this situation?

| I suggest visiting a quality landscaping lot or brickyard. There are so-o-o-o many shapes and colors of pavers now. Some are wedge-shaped for ease in creating a radius. Find out what is available locally and design the patio shape to take advantage of them. On another note, depending on the space you have to work with, consider making your patio rectangular, then soften the look with adjacent gardens. Here is a photo of ours just for the idea. Good luck and enjoy the patio. |
