| We are planning to install a deck. I like ipe (and have used it before), but all things being equal would prefer something less expensive and that takes a stain better. Local supplier has suggested kiln-dried jotaba (brazilian cherry). Does anyone have any experience with this wood for decking (not flooring)? We're thinking 5/4 x 6 on 16.
Also, there is a company called Nova Wood that has it available for shipment at a savings. Anyone have experience with Nova? I searched both these subjects but didn't see any posts -- regrets if I missed something. Thanks. |
