Latitudes Deck Stones (depth vs. composite?)

Finalizing specifications for a 900 sq. ft. composite custom contemporary deck. I'm being told the depth of the slate tiles w/ fiberglass backers is different from than composite deck planking. Looking at Trex Transcend and Timbertech Earthwood Evolutions. I would like the surface to be the same and wonder if the depth of these materials and deckstones are in fact different, and if so, how do you manage to get them on the same level? Open to any guidance/advice from the experts on this blog. Thanks.

Check the manufacturer's site. They should give you specifications. If they are different, you need to adjust the framing.

Here is what I learned from the manufacturer.

The overall thickness of the Deck Stones including the mounting clip is
approximately 1-1/8". Most composite decking is about 1" thick. The slight
difference does not present a trip hazard; it is very similar to the
transition between wood and ceramic floors in many homes. If you feel it is
necessary to have a perfectly level transition between the composite decking
and the deck stones, the installer will have to shim the deck planks.
