Help with mahogany deck - finish pealing off

I purchased a house a few months ago that has a relatively large mahogany deck. Before purchasing it, I realized that the finish on the mahogany was sticky (even though temps were below freezing) and that most of it had peeled off. I have no idea what they used to seal/finish the deck, but I plan on sanding the deck and refinishing it. My question is: what should I use to finish/seal a mahogany deck?

TWP 100 series. www.woodrich-brand.com markets a couple of strippers/brightner that will remove the present finish they also sell an outdoor finish thats not bad. J.

Isirois - I have just moved into a home with very similar problem... large Mahogany deck with a finish which seems a little sticky (and cloudy, like there is a coat of pollen on it). It also has worn away at the ends (wood turning gray, but no peeling).

What solution did you choose? Would you recommend it?
