The only kind of blind that I am aware of provides shade for a deck. It would probably stop rain, but if any wind occurs you will probably lose a major investment. If you want something temporary you might have to construct a leanto type of cover that you could put up and take down. This does not seem productive. Does your roof drip onto the deck too? ours does and it drives my wife crazy because dirty water bounces back and puts spots on her clean windows. I can't find the money to install gutters yet.
