I'm curious to know if you used the Fiberon material. We're replacing a deck and Fiberon Horizon is at the top of our choices right now. I'd sure like some firsthand feedback before we make this purchase.

Hi, we're also looking to replace our deck with Fiberon Horizon Ipe. I see this thread is 5 years old and am hoping you might be kind enough to share whether you were happy with your choice of going with the Fiberon. Much thanks for your inputs!

If anyone is still checking this thread, I had Fiberon Horizons Ipe (distributed at the time by CertainTeed under the name "Evernew PT") installed for my front porch/deck about 3 years ago. No warping, separating, or problem mold/mildew, and the dark color is holding very well. Only maintenance is to blow it off periodically with a leaf blower and scrub it with dish soap every fall. There is one small scratch, not really noticeable unless inspecting closely. We'll see if the 20 or 25 year warranty (can't remember) plays out, but so far Fiberon Horizons remains a strong recommend from me. The dark color and wood-like appearance, plus warranty and competitive price, sold me originally.
