We need help with construction details of craftsman stone veneer column in the link below. we would like to incorporate the features in the design and construction of our new home.

My questions are:

1. How to build the form-work for the pyramidal shaped column and with what materials and their sizes?

2. How to form the base on which to attach stone veneer finish and with what materials?

3. What type of stone is recommended, i.e. thin versus full size stone?

4. What are the details and considerations for damp proofing?

5. What are the materials appropriate for column capping?

6. Does anyone has drawings/details of similar construction they wouldn't mind sharing?
