| Hello! We are are scheduled for pebble on Tuesday on a rectangular pool infinity edge which wraps around one corner. The pool is on the edge of a bluff with light travertine coping and pavers, almost black waterline and weir wall tile, black epoxy grout - both the tile and grout do seem to have tiny reflective flecks in them. We are looking for maximum surface reflection and a calm, Zen ambiance. PB has asked if we might want gold flecks in the finish for increased shimmer or water effect. Has anyone tried or seen this in a finish? Any opinions- like or disliked?? Thanks for any input, |

| I've never heard of gold flecks being added...abolone shells yes, but not gold. Interesting. Get written warranty on it all, and post pics if you go through with it! |

| Wanted to update the info. The company's (CL Industries) black pebble is 95% black pebble and 5% gold pebble in a black matrix/substrate. The color mixes are infinitely customizable so I was offered the option of increasing the amount of fleck - but what was really meant was increasing the percentage of gold pebble - no fleck is involved. The black with 5% gold looks very sharp - fingers crossed! |
