I have a question that I hope someone can answer and clarify for me - I have signed a contract for 20 x 40 natural spring pool. Included in the contract is the standard concrete 3 ft. deck around the pool. Here's my question - when I meet with the mason will the prices he proposes to me include the cost of the concrete already included in my contracted price for each upgrade or will his price disregard the fact that I'm already paying for standard concrete? Another words, I don't think I should be paying for let's say $6.00 a sq/ft for 3ft around and then I get charged another $12.00 for stamped. Will the mason subtract the cost of the regular concrete I already paid for and just charge me the difference for the upgrade on the 3 ft around the pool and full price for any additional square footage? Not sure how it all works but do not want to be taken to the cleaners either. Thanks for any response.
