Correct Pipe for Pool Equipment

damormino

What are the correct pipes for plumbing pool equipment (inground pool)?

Currently there is old white 2" schedule 40 PVC.

I plan to replace all my equipment and add:

-heater

-chlorine generator

-acid feeder

-ozone generator

It seems CPVC would be better than PVC for pipes and fittings due to better resistance to chemicals and heat. (Jandy valves are CPVC, not PVC). But CPVC seems not very common. (I haven't found long sweep elbows, nor black colored fittings).

Also, should I be using schedule 80 (instead of 40)?
