Quartz and Slate Stone?

Posted by lbphathead19 (My Page) on

Is there a big difference between quartz and slate stone? Is one better than the other. We are deciding between the 2 for our ledgerstone on our spa. Will one hold up to water better than the other?

Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.

A lot depends on where you are, temperature changes, stone hardness, water chemistry, etc...
