| I have a raypack heater, this is our first winter with the pool, does the heater need a cover, the guy who closed it told my husband about using plywood, instead of purchasing a cover, anyone do this? or should a get a cover, which do u recommend? Thanks, in advance! |

| We cover ours every winter and sprinkle Shake-Away under the cover on the top of the heater and also the inside of our heater near the electronics. Put some outside the unit around the base too. No issues in 4 winters. |
