| Hello!
Our pool is now closed for winter :( Our skimmer covers have holes in them. Should those covers be replaced with ones that dont have holes to prevent water from entering the skimmers or is that overkill? thanks! |

| You should have a "Gizzmo" type plug in your skimmer box already for crack protection. If not, get them. The holes in the exterior plastic covers don't matter then. |
|
| The company that closes my pool uses the gizzmo's shown above and for added protection, I also cut up a foam noodle and place a piece in each skimmer to also help absorb freezing water pressure. |
