I am a new pool cleaner. I have a pool that is partially drained and the owner intends to keep it that way for several months for the winter. They intend to leave it 1/3 full until the spring, and they will be doing major deck repairs. The pool is inground and painted (plaster), I want to advise them that this is not a good idea, but have no information as to tell them why....I don't think it should sit empty with stale water; but, I have no back up documentation. Can anyone help me?
