Is putting a single step up to an 18 inch raised spa a common practice. Just wondering what everyone's opinion is?

Thanks in advance

Not usually but it is done, particularly with older pool buyers or those with some sort of disability where it makes access easier.

Personal preference. We put ours in with older folks in mind, but the little ones probably use it the most. If the spa is a large enough diameter, it doesn't take up much space. Ours is 8' diameter and we easily get 8-10 adults in even with the step. Does make a nice arm rest too....
