My pool heater would sometimes work and sometimes not. Then it quit. The blower would come on if I tapped the black box on the right of the control module but no heat then go off after a brief time. I had a pool guy come look at it. He said it might be the control panel $400. I looked on line and the panel it uses is:Pentair 470179 Electronic Thermostat Circuit $100 not the $400 one he was talking about. I got one and replaced the old one NOTHING happens! The power light comes on period. I saw a note about the run capacitor can cause erratic voltage. Replaced it NOTHING again. From what I know the blower should come on before ignition is attempted but nothing is happening. Any ideas what to check/look for?
