| So the screen on my timer all of the sudden is displaying everthing instead of just todays time and day. All the digital numbers and days are lit up. I can hit the program button and turn the pool on and off but am not sure if I am in auto on or just on because all the displays are lit up. Hope that makes sense.
It says there is a back up battery in the timer. Opened up timer and see some small looking battery. Not sure what is wrong and if just changing out that battery would solve the problem. I tried to hit the reset button, hoping the digital screen would clean all the extra stuff and go back to normal but nothing has happened. Any ideas? |

| Well if it's a backup then you can remove it & see if anything different happens - that removes the battery as an issue. Other than that it sounds like the display driver chip may have gone south. Remove the backup & the main power, wait 30 sec & then restore power, to see if it resets. If not, well it's shot. |
