spa cover?

I have a 7 foot round elevated spa (about 620 gallons) with a few spillovers into the pool. I live in scottsdale arizona. The pools builder says it will takes about 1 hour to heat it up. I'm assuming a cover would help, but for you math whizzes out there, by abut how much?

What are you using for heat? If you have a 400K gas heater, it'll heat in about 15 to 20 minutes. A cover won't help much since the source during the normal filtering cycle is the pool. You might save a minute or two at the most.
